Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all persons attending workshops with The Bobbin Collective. By completing the booking process and ticking the agreement box under Terms and Conditions, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions below.

The Bobbin Collective provides services in the form of in person workshops teaching sewing. The workshops are bookable on the website thebobbincollective.com.au only. Any workshop listed on this website's booking page is available to book and will proceed as described unless any unforeseen event occurs. In the event that the workshop cannot proceed, prompt notification will be sent to any attendees booked and either refund or rescheduling will be offered to the attendees.

Payment

Payment for the workshop is due at the time of booking. Payment methods available are by card through Stripe or via PayPal and a receipt will be emailed on confirmation of the payment. 

Materials Provided

Workshop attendees will be gifted the following tools: fabric snips, seam ripper, chalk and measuring tape.

Other tools provided in the workshop are for use throughout the workshop but remain the belongings of The Bobbin Collective. This includes but is not limited to: sewing machines, irons, ironing board, fabric scissors, scrap fabric, pins, thread, bobbins, etc. 

By agreeing to these terms, you agree to not cause any deliberate damage to, or steal any of The Bobbin Collective’s materials and tools. Any deliberate damage or theft of items and tools belonging to The Bobbin Collective will be dealt with appropriately i.e. compensation. 

Cancellation policy

We understand that things happen and you may need to cancel or reschedule. We require a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your booking. If cancellation or rescheduling occurs in this window, a fee of $50 will be charged. A no-show to the workshop will not receive a refund of the workshop fee.

If an emergency occurs or you are unwell and cannot attend, please get in touch with us to discuss rescheduling your booking or an exception to the cancellation fee. You can contact us at support@thebobbincollective.com.au
